Sean Lohman // Attorney
Hello! I’m Sean Lohman. I am an estate planning attorney and have been practicing law in Kentucky since 1994.
My goal is to be your trusted advisor who helps you make the very best personal, financial, and legal decisions for your family throughout your lifetime. I want to help you not just now, but also when you can’t be there so that I can help guide your loved ones through a difficult process.
In short, my sole focus is to help families avoid collapse after the death or disability of a loved one.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself: I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. I graduated from Trinity High School in 1987, earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from theUniversity of Kentucky in 1991, and received my juris doctor degree from the University ofKentucky College of Law in 1994. I became licensed to practice law in Kentucky in 1994 and have been admitted to practice in the United State District Court, Western District of Kentucky and the Southern District of Indiana.
When I graduated from law school I joined The Lohman Law Offices as an attorney, joining my father, who founded the firm. My father established this as boutique law firm which provides excellent legal services to individuals in Louisville and throughout Kentucky. I became managing partner of the firm in 2004. My team and I strive to offer unparalleled estate planning services and trust preparation for clients in Louisville and throughout Kentucky.
Over the years, I have achieved significant success and recognition as a result of my work as an attorney, including admission to the Million Dollar Advocates Form and being listed as a Top Louisville Lawyer by Louisville Magazine. I am honored to have been invited to lecture at several legal seminars throughout the years.
I belong to the Kentucky Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, theLouisville Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association.
I have been active in my community and have served on the Board of Trustees at the University of Kentucky, the Board of Directors of the Exploited Children’s Help Organization in Louisville(served as Chairman), the Board of Directors of Community Coordinated Child Care in Louisville, and I am an Elder at Second Presbyterian Church of Louisville.
When I am not working with clients to protect their legacies through estate planning, I enjoy spending time with my four children, traveling with friends, and volunteering in the community.
